#EqualNotExploited: End the World's Oldest Oppression
"Prostitution: The Oldest Oppression" video was produced by survivor leaders and allies within the national anti-sexual exploitation movement in the United States. Safe Harbor 4 All is Minnesota's local movement to advocate for the partial decriminalization prostitution model known nationally as the Equality Model.
"Sex trafficking and exploitation in transactional sex (selling or trading sex) violates basic human rights to safety, self-determination, health, and dignity.
This [sexual exploitation] happens to adults in Minnesota.
It causes numerous harms including violence, threats of violence, abuse, loss of children, instability, physical and mental health problems, and much more.
All adults who are trafficked for sex or involved in transactional sex in Minnesota experience collateral harms due to stigma and criminalization of prostitution, including lack of housing, discrimination, and lack of police protection."

Central MN Sexual Assault Center (CMSAC) is excited to share that we are organizing to join the national movement for partial decriminalization of the commercial sex trade through a partnership with World Without Exploitation (WorldWE). Through this collaborative partnership, we will work to advocate for Safe Harbor for All around the State and educate the public as to why a partial decriminalization model is the best option for Minnesota. WorldWE has a long history of supporting partial decriminalization (Equality Model) efforts across the country. We feel that working with the support of WorldWE in furthering our efforts in Minnesota will be immensely beneficial.
It is our hope that many who have been involved with prior efforts will join again, along with important new voices to build energy for working together on valuable changes in our State of MN. We look forward to starting this renewed collaborative effort with an invitation to some listening sessions with stakeholders in Minnesota. Further information on these sessions will come soon.
